Just bought a 99 Ram Diesel Truck, Came with some Add on stuff iam not sure about. First is the Towloc. I went to the web site and read up on it and learned a little bit about it.. Still not sure When to use it.. Towing , or just driveing ? Theres a toggle switch that lights up Green on the bottom, off in the middle, and red up top. Also every time i start the truck the " OD OFF" light is on...Truck also has a Banks Brake deal. I did try driving it with the green light on.. You can feel the brake working when you let off the gas, but when you get below a certain speed the "OD OFF" light comes back on.. This dont seem right ..Does it ? ...

Also has a Power Puck. Is this just a plug and play thing ?? No adjustments?

Hello I've got one the stuff you’re talking about is just what it is currently programmed to do. Theas things are great you can set them to do allot. You should get on the BD site and read the programming guide to see if there is any thing you want to change. If you do you need a laptop or palm pilot.

Ok the green mode is the tow mode when you let off the fuel the TC will lock and the brake will come on down to a set speed than go off.

The red mode is for what ever it will lock the tc when you reach a set speed and keep it locked until you get back below that speed.

Of course all this depends on the programming.

As for the O/D it can be set to turn it off at the start so it might be.

Also the brake could be on in red mode as well.
