Does anyone have an account with Napa?

I was thinking about opeing an account w/Napa. When i buy parts there now, they usually put me under someone elses.

Can anyone open an account, or do you have to be a business or spend a certain amount?

If you have an account, can you just pay cash or credit card while your there and not "get a bill" in the mail?

I think its worth it, as i get a rediculous discount when i go under the company i work for, like over 50% on some items.

I think you should be able to set up an account with NAPA. I recently was in buying some parts from our local napa, they're the only ones I buy from, the the sales guy asked if I wanted to set up an account instead of putting me under someone elses account for the discount. So I think you should be able to get account there.

Yes, you can open a line of credit account and just use cash. They set that up so employees couldn't just roll in and grab parts.
I've never heard of any 50% off's, but I know there is atleast two levels of savings in regards to which account you have.

I looked at their app. a few weeks ago for my business, you will need either a Fed EIN, or your SS. For an open line they will run your credit or Dunn & Bradstreet, or something of the sort to check you out.
For now I am just on some kind of "Prefered Cash" customer status, don't really see much savings at all.

That's Mr. Shmo to you!

Unless you are buying for a small fleet or something I see little use in having any account. Like any other store type credit, they are giving you a discount to intice you to roll a balance month to month. That 5-15% off you are getting off will be easily made up in APR.

?

I only spend between $10-100 a month for the business and less than that on my truck, last thing I need is more credit.
