I have heard they dont and I had heard they do?

Smarty will boost fool to about 44#s. If you are going to exceed that you will need additional fooling to keep from throwing codes. If you have the stock 03 turbo, 35#s is about as much boost as it will handle.

Ok Thank you Guys, I push 50+ lbs but havnt seen a boost code yet.

I did not think the ECM would give the codes until my year 2004.5, when the wastegate went electronic.

Well you could be right, I have never seen a boost code and I have surpassed 60+ lbs. I also run EZ and TST which both do additional fooling.

BBRam on Cummins Forum told me he was throwing codes on his 03 @ 53 lbs. He is a reliable source imo.

I am not sure if a cel would accompany a boost code or not, maybe they clear themselves after so many key cycles, but I have not witnessed one on my truck.
