hello, i have a line on a set of 20" rims with 37" toyos on them dit cheap. but they are off a 2004 ford f-250 with the metric 8lug i believe, does anyone make an adapter from metric 8lug to standard 8 lug? thanks , Kodi

Check e-bay. You could also try hitting up some machine shops. I have a machinist friend, makes adapters all the time.

thats going to be very hard to do while keeping them thin I think.....

8on 170mm is SOOO close to 8 on 6.5" (8 on 162.5mm)
that offsetting the patterens will require spaceing them out. just not really feasable.

Just, get the right rims.

you'll spend quite a bit of money having the spacers made... you may as well just buy the wheels and tires, sell the ford wheels and then buy the correct ones for a dodge... that and the fact that there going to hang 4-6inches (depending on the backspace) out of the fenders before you add spacers... you will love those tires though... regardless of what you decide to do

They'd space them out anyway. 8mm is 5/16th of an inch. Thats a good amount of difference. You'd also need the adapters to be hubcentric, as the Fords use the unilug style nuts, like duallies, not the acorns like Dodge and GM use on SRW vehicles.

........this is what I mean..... when you overlay an 8on170mm on an 8on162mm pattern you'd have to space it sufficiently so the lugs and nuts of each do not interfere with each other. spaceing it 3 or 4" defeats the adapter IMO.


Why not just get the right rims with the right backspace.

All the adapters I've seen, the stud in the adapter goes between the studs in the hub, so the limit to minimum thickness is length of the stud and nut on the hub to bolt on the adapter. Usually in the 2" range.

get the right rims........8on6.5" is far more common than stupiduty metrics.
