dodge long bed question

I have a 97 long bed , the bed it worked over pretty good, im looking for a replacemet in better shape, i have a line on a 96 bed but its a dually bed, can the fenders be taken off?? will it look like a srw bed when they are? Thanks Kodi

do you mean a 96. you can take off the fenders but there will be alot of bolt holes and a big chunck is cut out for wheel clearence. I would keep looking for another srw box

The 86 bed and the 97 bed will have different body lines that wont match up. IIRC the older dualy beds had bigger wheel openings buhind those fenders. Hope this helps.

Look for a utility truck body place near by, they usually have some laying around for sale.

sorry guys i put 86 i meant 96...

so im trying to find out if a 96 dually bed will bolt on to my 97 srw . And if the dually fenders unbolt .. Sorry for the confusion
