Looks like a pretty nice truck. I can't tell from the pictures but does it have any rust? Pretty decent price as well for around here (Ontario I Mean).

Nooo way !!! That's too overpriced. Keep looking and broaden your search.

1/2 of that price is what's on the market right now.

I think he means dont limit yourself to your area. Look in the States. I picked up my 98 for $7500(US), but it is older and more miles. Good luck with you search. I bet you might work him down to $8500(US) or so.

No gauges, no front end upgrades, high mileage, perhaps rusty door. The truck will have all of the related problems of needing to fix the steering & fuel system. That's about 2k in parts before you're ready to start engine upgrades. I'd at least look for less mileage or cheaper price.

Thats not really all that high of mileage, thats less than 200k miles. I don't know what prices in Ontario are like, but thats right about where they are out in Alberta, maybe even a little cheaper.

That being said, there are lots of deals to be had in the states, so it wouldn't hurt to look down there. I bet you could even sweet talk some members on here to go look at the truck for you to give it a once over. Make sure you run a carfax search on it though. I almost bought a 98 12v 3500 a couple years ago. Found out it was from Texas originally and wrote off twice due to water damage. Saved me a lot of money and hassle.

There is a used Dodge Diesel dealer in Plant City FL. that ships trucks into Ontario all the time. The shipping costs are well worth the reduced rust. Guys name is Kyle, do a google search for the number.
