How do you calculate rpm?
I'd like to know what my rpm was.. It ran 119.69 in the quarter on 28.8'' drag radials. The trans is a 48re, and the gears are 3.42's. This is on my 06 2500. Thanks in advance..

The following will do the calculation for you.

If the 4 gear ratio (.69) on the 48re is the same as on the 47re then the rpm is just under 3300.

I'm running one of the older smarty beta tunes right now.. I have the newest beta, but I loaded another instead and didn't have time to do it over.. I just ran it on level 8 without added timing.. Bob had me pulling 3,930 rpm back in May, though it didn't make huge peak numbers.. 543 peak hp on that setup, and right at 500 hp at 3,930 rpm.. That was just a single and 90hp injectors..
