Was doing some basic maintence and was gona change the cabin filter but could not find one under the dash or where to find it in the owners manual. Every car i have ever owned had one usualy in the glove box area.

So do we have one?

man thats crap u think when u have a truck that has 40K msrp they can put in a 15 dollar in cabin micro filter in it. My old base honda civic used to have one.

Tell me, what does a cabin air filter do when I run with fresh air coming thru open windows and constantly opening and closing the 4 doors? Just another in a long line of rip offs to help pad Fram and other filter producers bottom line. IMHO

Not much in my opinion either, unless it was NBC (Nuclear/Biological-Contaminant) capable so I could drive until I ran out of fuel the day after Armageddon.

They filter out dust and alergens I live in the desert so i got dust all the time with a nice breeze. That and i live close to Sanbernardino the worst air quality in the country and i have asthma so anything to breath fresh air on dusty or smogy day im all about it. I guess I will have to look at those geno's set up.

I'd like to know if anybody has used the Geno's filter. When I drive around, it's just me or my son, with windows down, so I can enjoy my exhaust stack "music". When I have to haul around the wife or daughter, we have "hair issues", so it's windows up, and a/c on. I just wonder if this filter really works. Geno's has been good to me in the past, but I wonder about this filter they offer. Anybody have any experience with it?

I've got one. I can say that it does slightly reduce the exhaust smell if you're driving behind a bus or your own exhaust at idle. Not sure I would buy it again though. It's plastic and doesn't fit completely flush, at least on mine. It probably does filter out some allergens, but the design just leaves a little to be desired.

My wife's Honda Accord has a proper cabin air filter that works really well. And it's easy to change, just behind the glove box.

I change the ones on equipment at work all the time, loaders, snow plows, snow blowers, Chev pickups.....

They come out GROSS! Sure wish my truck has one everytime I pull out a nasty looking one.

Cabin air filters keep crap from plugging up the heater core, a/c evap. There a good thing to have, to bad these trucks dont have them.

Thats what I was thinking, we have enough issues with the blender doors in these trucks.

Wow, either you-all are really young or I'm gettin old.
I have only had one car with the cabin filter and it stunk half the time. Of course it was a Ford so that explains alot.
