what do toy guys think

I dont know if you guys have heard of twisted diesel out hear in va but they are mainly a ford diesel performance company but the owner is a good friend of mine and we have been talking about the build for my truck. what do you guys think

it will be mainly a sled puller and weeknd driver for kicks but

we decided to go with a custom 71 mm gt40 for the 2.8 class and ddp 250 injectors

assuming i can provide the fuel with the Glacier diesel fuel boss kit and build the tranny with a little higher stall for spooling what do you guys think the truck would be capable of power wise. my dragcomp will also be stacked with a smarty

What are you going to do for an IP? Stock VP won't be very competitive in the 2.8 class.

I wouldnt go any bigger than a 66mm charger if you are just running a VP44.

I dont think you will have enough fuel to need anything bigger than a 66mm charger, and it will spool better.

Eric

if you can run an s480 in a set of twins like some people do you can run and s480 as a single. yes it will be laggy but you cant run twins in a 2.8 class plus twins are only aloud in the big pulling class so its all out or nothing

My 71mm gt 40 yes is big and will be laggy but it is more purpose built for sledpulling and occasianal weekend running. I know the vp44 trucks cant flow as much fuel as the 12 valve or common but i think they can make that turbocome to life as a single
