What to do next
I'm wantin yalls opinion on what to do next. I know i need a turbo and have been lookin at them but can't make up my mind on which one I want. I'm wantin to a 5k gsk in it. (this is a pullin/fun truck) I know I probly need to go ahead an put studs and a gasket on it. I'm not that impressed with the 370's I've got and I think my dv's are jus 191's so I'm kinda thinkin of gettin some different injectors and dv's. Can't make up my mind on them either. lol What do yall think I should go about doin next? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

When i put the 5k spring in it lasted about 100 miles on the stock bottem end before i had to get some upgrades.. New crank and berrings i also went and did pistons and cam when it was tore down

Well I for sure don't want to ruin a crank or anything else. I will have to look at my friend's and see. I don't know if he put new bearings in before the 5k or not. May jus have to go with a 4k this season and disassemble it next winter and do bearings and cam and such. Do yall know of anyone runnin a S300 or S400 Turbo?

Most all aftermarket chargers are based off S3's. You dont need anything done to the bottm end to spin over 4000RPM you are just running a risk but, we all like to take risks .

I need to get the turbo for sure. Yea we all take risks I agree. lol I can't afford a risk like that if it don't take it. I may jus try to run 4k this year or untill I can afford to disassemble the motor and clean everythin and put some new parts in. Do ya'll think with my current set up and 4k springs and a 5 or 6spd manual and a S300 could be a stout truck?

Yes I am buildin it to pull with. I pulled with it like it is this past year. I need rpms bad. And more fuel. lol Which 300 are you talkin bout bein the right one?
