What to do if got P0192 and P0483 code?
Im in a bind. i want to go camping tommorrow with my truck(pull trailer). Its throwing these 2 codes when i cycle key. engine light came on and truck died. i was able to fire it up again and drive it home. it seems to work ok yet but engine light stays on. whats up any1 encounter these 2 codes?

Here is what the codes mean thanks to DTR WIKI.
P0483 Fan Speed
P0192 Fuel Pressure Sensor Voltage Too Low
PO192 is a possible LP problem or bad connection on the Edge Juice(I think that is the code it throws sometimes). Do you still have the factory pump on the canister or the in tank retrofit pump? Check your wires on your fan clutch to make sure they are O.K.

not now lol. light went out. i hooked up to my 9000 lb camper. half way to lake light came on again. I turned truck off. later fired truck up again all was good. next morning light on again and now it wont start. It gives P0192 P0193 P0483 and P0252 codes now. did get it to fire after a bit and it sounded rough like a old 5.9 cummins. CP3 or fuel rail pressure sensor? Dealer told me a new CP3 is $3200 canadian and the fuel rail pressure sensor is $800 canadian. isnt that high?

That was my post,.,,that &*^% Sensor was around 700 dollars down here in Ga.. Do the fuel rail sensor first.. A MAP sensor code also came out but went away after the rail sensor was replaced.. Do the work yourself,,take about 2 minutes... Do a search for the part first before paying the dealer...

thanks. thing is i want shop to diagnose it because what if it isnt the sensor. thatll be an extra $800. i know its easy to change the sensor its in the open (1" or 1 1/16" deep socket) but i cant afford that gamble.

Yes, they are electronic. Engaging is controlled by the ECM. Wires run on the left side fo the engine block up a small capilary tube the carries them to the back of the fan clutch. Big gray connector near the crank sensor is where it plugs in, can't miss it.

culprit for what? causing the fan problem or the FCA/rail sensor problem?
Dealer wants $1500 parts/labor to install the FCA valve and Rail sensor sensor.I can get both parts from cummins for $600 and put them in myself in 30 minutes.
I think my FCA was always sticking thats why my edge had issues. From day 1 my truck idled funny. and ive unhooked EDGE LOTS since my egt problem and no change.
