How do I change the fuel filter?

Hey all. Been a while since I've been on here. I was searching for fuel filter replacements, but keep finding what brands to use and stuff like that. This is my first Ram, and am looking for posts about changing the filters in the 05s. I've only changed the filter/water seperators on the 3406E Cats- just like changing our oil filter. If you know of a post, would you mind pasting it here please? Any help would be appreciated- I don't want to bring it in to have it done, and I am waiting for Chilton to come out with a book. I thought of ordering a CD, but I have a Mac and I don't think it will work.

Actually it does brown me off to pay good beer money to change the fuel filter....but the cost of replacing a CP3 pump is thousands of bucks....so all work during warranty period will be done by dealer.
I don't want them to use the excuse that I did something wrong to get out of a big warranty claim....just my paranoia.
I would enjoy doing some of the maintenance, but won't for this reason.

BTW I just had the intank transfer pump done after the truck died on the side of the road...by a small town dealer, who drove 25 miles to another town to get the parts from another dealer...and had me on my way in 5 hrs....very impresive service.

Good to hear there are dealers still taking care of customers. I'm guessing you didn't buy from them, which makes it sound even more impressive.

If it was me, and I was going to be near that dealership in the next few days, I think I'd drop off a couple dozen of donuts for the service dept to show my appreciation.
