DMax with twin ATS turbos.

Some strange plumbing, but not knowing much about the Dmax's, perhaps thats the only path available.

I can appreciate the work that must've gone into getting this figured out and working.
However, Im not sure I'd like my turbo(s) to be that exposed to the elements.

Nice bit of creative engineering, none the less.

I guess that "V" configuration crammed into the engine bay makes it a little more difficut to plumb for twins.

The "straight 6" keeps lookin' better all the time. ;D

The Duramax, or those twin must not flow much air, since they have a BHAF on their.

I know of some Dodge owners that can collapse a BHAF from pulling enough vacuum. Re:DMax with twin ATS turbos.

That definatly took some engineering to rig up, but no guards on the air filter or turbo's? Asking for trouble. I seen two things differant with that set up than a dodge.

1. Dodge doesn't need 6" of lift to clear 315's.
2. We can stuff a whole lot more under the hood than a Dmax.

Glad I made the sane choice! ;D

If you look at that truck, the tires seem a little stuffed to me. Look at a dodge with only 4.5" and 315's and theres all kinds of room with a 1.5" smaller lift. IMO they seem stuffed. I would like to see how the truck perform's.

Re:DMax with twin ATS turbos.

I guess its cool he tried but. : Its looks to me that he just made a 6inch lifted pavement queen. That open air filter and low hanging oil lines. If he wants power he NEEDS a real truck. Just my two cents. ;D

Re:DMax with twin ATS turbos.

Merrick,
I agree that that air filter is a huge restriction for that setup. It only dyno'd at 540 hp. :

For a Duramax that truck rips. Anyone who has been it it will tell you that.
