I have a dana 70 rear and yes I would like an emergency brake. I like your set up BC847. where did you get the brackets at for the calipers and the bracket that bolts to the rear itself?

I installed the egr kit and had the exact opposite results. I left the RWAL valve because I wanted to see if the problems I was having went away with just the disk conversion. After around 2000 miles, so far so good. I have good solid brakes and the parking brake is great. The p-brake adlustment is a bit of a pain on these calipers, but once it is set right, it works great. I am going to give it some more miles before I put the blame on the drums and not the valve...Mark

The EGR kit uses the Eldorado rear disc brake caliper with the parking brake option (as you know). It is VERY important to use the parking brake often in order to keep them properly adjusted as the pads wear.

I think most of the kits will use the Eldo calipers, I went with a transfer case brake and used regular 3/4 Ton fronts on my D60 rear. I latter went to a 99 Chevy 3500 Hydroboost/Master which made them really work well.
