differential cover question
Hello I have just bought a new rear differential cover for my 11.5 rear on my truck. I have a question on the where they put the hole for a temp sending unit. They placed the hole for the unit above the oil fill hole by about an inch. I would have thought it should be in the oil to get th right reading. If any one could let me know if it is good where it is or should it be redrilled lower in the pan so it is in the oil. Oh by the way it is and oasis cover if you should need to know. Thank you
