If it has a D, its a 12v and if its 6 I think its a 24v. 12v went up to 98.4 and up from there up are 24v. Or thats how I understand it.

Greyboy is right,the letter = 12v and the numbers 6 or 7 = 24v. There is a post somewhere here on VIN #'s that is a big help,I will look and try to find,goodluck Rick Aha! I remembered,it is at www.dodgeram.org/tech/specs/VIN_decode.htm
