Diesel Fumes
I'm getting diesel fumes in the cab. I have not seen or heard and exhaulst leaks but have not crawled under the truck due to back fusion 5 weak ago. i assume it would have to be exhaulst or fuel leak.

Probably one of the hoses near the injection pump has dried out and cracked. Id check those, especially the return hose way in back right next to the block. you can unbolt the brake master and pivot it out of the way, and remove the fuel filter to get good access to that area.

if you are talking about exhaust fumes I get that now and then. I think on mine it comes in when the heater or a/c are drawing fresh air and the wind is blowing just right. only ever had this when stopped at lights or driving really slow in rush hour.

What you describe is exactly what happens when the seal inbetween the rear of the hood and windshield falls off.

Yep me too. I thought something was leaking in my rig but I'm glad to hear this is normal at idle or when just starting up.
