Looks like it may be a good product but again misleading. He says about being over 500 lbs. on the torque wrench. I was thinking to myself "that man is strong" to be able to load that much torque with one hand. I rewound it and looked at the wrench. It is in inch pounds..
Still looks like it may work but misleading. Could this be another snakeoil?

I use Stanadyne in my truck every tank in the winter and every third in the summer and so far that is the best stuff I have found. Check it out....

No offense but I just don't see myself dumping used oil full of contaminants into my tank especially with VP44 being so finicky.

so let see the same test with these added to diesel
1. biodiesel
2. 2cycle motor oil.
3. 15w40 motor oil non synthetic..new so its clean
4. 15w40 motor oil synthetic..new so its clean

then maybe I'll listen.
I have no doubt in older systems lubrication is needed. but what?
this just shows they might have a good product. lets compare to others

so far from all I've read 2% or more biodiesel is the best.

for those who have never used bio and plan to. keep a extra fuel filter on hand. bio if used in larger amounts can do a great job in cleaning gunk from your tank and it can plug up your fuel filter. I have used bio, lucas upper cyl treatment. power service, 2 cycle etc. I have came to the conclusion to me alot of money is wasted. a good fuel source and using the same fuel source is also key. during the winter months for those who need it use a anti-gel additive. 2 cycle is cheap, power service is a cheap investment as well. this is topic you will get alot of opionions and alot of works best for me. I for one have never seen a mpg gain on any of these. but I know the extra lube factor is there. peace of mind on its own. IMO stay away from used anything even if you filter it. its used for a reason. you could also look into alot of threads about this probley to much for a whole weekend to read. not bashing anyones own cocktail of additives.

if your talking purely for lubricity then read this thread it was done over on the GM site and its very interesting, somethings you think might actually increase Lubricity actually make it worse

Old news, but would've liked to see the two stroke tested at a 128:1 ratio.

I have used Stantadine Lubricity for few years. Glad to see it did well on the tests. Before that I used Powerservice with Marvel Mystery Oil. Seemed to work ok but was a hassel to save containers and pre-mixing. I do believe that it is a good idea to lubricate the fuel system.

That DieselPlace article is an interesting read. Thanks for posting it. I love the fact that the biodiesel was the best lube.

I have a 45 Gal. aux. fuel tank in the bed of my truck. I fill it on trips when I see the lowest priced #2 I fill 'er up. When not on trips I have sometimes poured several 35 pound boxes of Costco soybean oil into it and then gradually feed it into the main tank for lube insurance. I've also poured in filtered used Rotella from the crankcase. I have a large NAPA diesel fuel filter mounted under the bed, and hooked to that tank, and so everything that gets poured into the Aux. tank gets run through 2 diesel fuel filters--the NAPA and the stock D/C filter.
