Did I miss a deal.....

So I was watching this truck on ebay and started looking around at some others and I think I missed a pretty good deal. What do you guys think? '06 2500, 4 X 4, $15K, here's the link http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/06-25...1%7C240%3A1308

and it was nearby, not a 1000 miles away like most good finds on ebay.

I don't know, no cruise control and manual windows and door locks, I wouldn't buy it. I could tolerate the manual windows and locks, but not the lack of cruise control. Where I live, once you get out of town you just set the cruise and forget about it for 100 miles. And that's in any direction! I couldn't imagine having to keep a constant speed using only my foot for any trip over an hour.

Yeah you missed a great deal there even if it was an ST w/ no options. That same dealer had a beautiful low mileage 95 12 valve I was the high bidder on and they ended the auction early. I was prepared to pay a couple thousand more than my bid had gotten to...

Randall, good point, I'm starting to feel better already, I've had cruise in the last couple'a vehicles and it would be hard to live without.

According to Kelly Blue Book, it was one heck of a deal! They claim it's worth $26,350. I think they were smoking some funky stuff when they came up with that number. Even if I really wanted it, I wouldn't pay a dime more than $19,000 for it. But yeah, if you can do without all the modern conveniences, I guess I would have to say that you did miss a good deal. Sorry.

Here is a portable cruise control/window opener in case you find another deal that doesn't have them.

You're gonna love this.....I just called the seller/dealer to verify that it was sold (and it was), on top of that another Dealer bought it. So guess what, I may have another opportunity to buy it, only this time it'll prolly be $19,999. Dang I wish I'd heard about that cheap cruise control idea sooner.

Well, you have the advantage of knowing exactly what they paid for it. If you want it, I would offer them $16,000 for it and raise the BS flag if they say they won't make any money off of it at that price.

hell of a deal! i have a 04.5 st model i bought brand new. it obviously does not have power windows-no big deal. no power locks- no big deal. has rubber/vinyl flooring,etc-which i love. has many after market accessories, etc which i have installed which makes it one hell of a truck! u missed out! my past trucks use to be fully loaded when i bought them. then i would change the rims and tire size, exterior and interior features,(bumpers, etc). i then realized i should buy the cheapest trim model and save a few bucks to use towards accessories, etc since i change most the things on my trucks- to each their own!

Hey, careful there. I will NEVER be a Texan nor do I have the slightest desire to be.

That particular dealer always has great truck deals but usually they are much higher mileage. Keep checking their auctions. You can make them a preferred seller so it's easy to find out what they have available...
I almost got an ST truck too but no Cruise or PW just wasn't gonna work for me. I would love to have rubber flooring instead of carpet....
