Where did the heat go?
Well the last friday myself and jvjump and dodgeram_04 put in my full Hts tranny. I went out and tested when finished did a few 0-110mph runs and watched my Edge monitor. THe egt that I reached was 1450 max in 3rd with lockup then back down to 1250 then back to 1450 by the time I hit 110. This seem strange because I use to be able to get to 1450 early then have the Edge defuel up to 25-35%. Now I have no defuel also no slip in trans either. I also had the Mp-8 up to about 50-60%. If I turn it down the egt's stay even lower. Is this a fuel supply issue or just enough air to keep it cool. I am confused.

Sounds like your tranny is locking up really good so that you are not losing boost on shifts and therefore you are spooling ideally and keeping cooler. You should be a lot faster I hope. ks

I agree with abc4yew, it sounds like one of the benefits of a well built tc/transmission. Not near as much lost power and therefore less heat built up before to compensate in power and boost.

I would agree again with abc. I have an II SPS66, but it does take a lot of fueling to make happy and spool. After the turbo then it would be time to upgrade to the HOT Juice.

Well today I sent the paper work off for the hot upgrade. I guess only a few more days till I get the code. Here is a picture of last weeks load good sized but have had bigger. Gross truck trailer and load weighed in at 24600lbs. I guess I tow depends on what you consider towing.
