What did I do wrong?

Hooked up the torque converter lock up switch. Went to try it out and when I flip the switch the wait to start light comes on. I don't feel any difference in the tranny. Followed the directions on the tst website. Any help is greatly appreciated.

You probably tapped the wrong wire. There are alot of orange/black wires in there, and I think one is for the WTS light. Another thing since you have a '96 is that the early 96's need a reflash from the dealer for this to work. Just a heads up.

Look at the build date to see if it is. TST says 9-95 to 4-96 are affected

Yep mine is the one that needs a reflash. Build date is 9-95. That doesn't surprise me. Anyways, just went out and tapped the other wire and it seemed to work at first, then i lost first and overdrive. Hope I didn't screw anything up.
