dick cepek dc1's?
well i have some questions about dick cepek dc1s in black, i was wondering if they will make my tires stick out way more than my stock rims i was also told that they would make my tires rub way more than my stock rims and that i would need some bushwackers, i would think that if they stuck out more that they wouldnt rub as much?

Im pretty sure thats all gonna dependon backspacing. to much and it'll rub your control arms, not enough they rub the fender. It's a magic # that makes em fit just right. I do not know that magic # though.

If they are the 17x9 wheels they have a 4.5 inch backspace and they will stick out quite a ways. Do your tires rub on the fenders or the control arms. If your running the stock wheels they the control arms. With a five inch lift you might not have any rub at all, it will be close tho. BTW the rubbing will be on the fender and not the control arms since the wheels will get your tires out more. I think that for a 9 inch wide wheel the magic number is 6 inches. I just got some kmc Diesel wheels that have a 5 inch bs and they only hit if i hit a big bump when turning, but i also need to get some longer control arms.

My DC1's do stick out quite a bit. For the most part I love the rims and the way they look. The truck looks a little more stout and stable with the tire hanging out but the truck is hard to keep clean even with mud flaps. If I cut the wheels to full lock the tire will rub on the inner plastic fender a little. That is with 33-12.50-17 and 2" level kit on front and 2 added leafs in back. If I get time later I will post some pictures for you.
