Dial Indicator for Bore Measurment on Rocker Arms? PLEASE HELP!
I pulled my rocker arms, pushrods etc out of my 05 5.9 Cummins to inspect. I need the dial indicator to measure the inner diameter of the bore on the rocker arm. Is there a specific name used for this dial indicator in picture? I notice the two legs on bottom of dial, but not sure if there is a specific name for them. In addition, where is the cheapest place to buy one? Thank you!

That is a bore gauge, but you don't need anything nearly as exotic. You can use a set of snap gauges and a micrometer, or a set of dial verniers if you are reasonably skilled.
Snap gauge, select the range you need.

Micrometer (select your poison)

Dial Calipers:

Or if your heart is set on a inside gauge, here.
