diablosport power puck
I was wondering what everyones thoughts are on the puck. I am looking at an 04 2500 and so i am looking already for the mods to put in it. I noticed many dealers selling the diablosport for around 210 which seems cheaper than most and could be bought as a package with the programmerfor around 500. let your opinions fly!

First, welcome to DTR. There is a lot of information to be gained here. Personally I don't have any knowledge with Diablo products, but if you fill out your signature, there are many people here who will be more than happy to help you.

do a search for power pucks in the forum. i looked at it last night and there was a place that had them for $165 and free shipping. i sure would get one if i didnt need a clutch so bad!

Also Bd says their new box is revolutionary new technology, doesn't its operarion sound the same as the dialosport, ie. not increasing pressure but changing timing and pulse width?

The Predator Programmer can do more for you than the Puck, such as real time data, 4 different program levels & deliver more power.
I would recommend just purchasing the combination stack kit (Predator & Puck), installing both of them on your truck & mainly use the Predator. This is what I do on my 03. I keep the Predator set on the "extreme" mode & leave the Puck in the off position. When I want a little extra juice.....then I just flip the toggle switch for the Puck and off I go.
The power is extremely smooth & lasts through the entire RPM range.

Well if the power puck does only timing and pulse with. My vote is T.S.T. all the way!!! It may cost a little (lot) more. However the benefits are far greater. THe new r49 can do much thingsthat I personally find very cool. As well as produce POWER!
The r49 has the rail pressure adj. and it is Totally different than the old tst that Ihave. It can make the fuel come on NOW from what I understand.

Humps how is the EGTs with that stack?? How bout with the juct the programmer???
If they will make the programmer adjust on the fly like the 05-06s I'm sold till then I'm still lookin into the hot juice.
Also, I wonder how much pressure some of this chips add.
Like the puck, it says 90hp so to me that means they add more pressure than say a 65hp quad. So what I'm askin is would a smaller pressure like the quad lower the egts over the puck.
Also though it would be nice to to run them together since they are made by the same company.
If anyone has a early 04 or 03 with the predator programmer or the sack, I'd like to see some dyno numbers just to see what kind of power these things are puttin.
