Delo ULSD 15/40

This was the oil I was running in my 7.3 PSD. When I do my first oil change at 1k on the new truck I'm planning on using it. After that 5k intervals. Anybody have anything negative to say about the Delo for my application? Thanks.

You should be fine. Delo is a very good oil, I use it as well. Rotella, Delvac, Valvoline are a few others that you can't go wrong with either.

DELO (Diesel Engine Lubricating Oil) is very good motor oil. It continues to be Chevron's premium grade commercial motor oil. They keep upgrading this oil and the new improved stuff is excellent. And, no, I don't work for Chevron! I just know a little about this product.

I assume your talking about the LE formula? If your using 5,000 drain intervals you should be fine. THe debate on these new oils is extended drains.. might not hold up as well as the old CI4+. I just found out that Delvac is still making the Ci4+ and my auto zone just got a shipment so I stocked up enough to get me by until I switch to synthetics..
