Define "grabby" clutch?
What do you guys mean by "graby"?
Like if I am in second gear and I ease off the clutch it feels like the truck is about to stall out for a second as in not smooth engaging?

really crappy defines it for me. if u just try to let out on the clutch in 2nd it bucks and jerks so bad it feels like every bolt is going to fall out of truck. if you tow it really sucks especially in reverse , u you have to put it in 4 low to get it to act right. i hated the jerky clutch i had.

Yup.. Like a switch. It is a jerky couple of chirps and then engages. I found bringing the engine up to about 950 or 1000 helps it slip a bit more smoothly.

Sounds like my mine. If you bring the revs up a bit it helps, otherwise it always gives a little hop starting off.

It goes like this: Release brake. slowly release clutch. jerk je rk j e r k je e e err rk. drive. Or it could JERK. drive. rub back of head where it hit the back window. Plate load has a lot to do with controlling the grabbyness.
