Death wobble with toyo ATs?????

has anyone had problems with death wobble running a 325/70/17 on stock rims and suspension? Most of the posts I've read were with BFGs.

Aren't you going to have a hard time clearing 325's with the stock suspension?

I havnt put em on yet. My coopers will be totaly worn out by summer. I'd like to run a bigger tire for the look but I dont want to have any issues. Im really not worried about control arm rub at full lock. That doesnt bother me at all. I dont 4x4 ever so it shoulnt ever be an issue. If it is Ill toss in a leveling kit.

It's when you hit a bump and the whole front end of the truck shakes like a dog pooping razorblades... Scarry... and not fun..

What causes it? Worn out suspension?

Thumbs up Toyos`

Toyos are molded extremely round and should balance out with a minimum of weight. They should minimize the chances of getting DW.

Nope.

I ran 325/70/17 Toyo OC ATs for 2 weeks, many highway trips, no death wobble.(2 weeks before lifting the truck) Theyve been on for 2 months now, no problems...

Actually rode the smoothest at stock height with the toyos, I should have left it alone

Stacked97 did you tow at all with them? Did you have any rubbing issues with them when your truck was stock height?

Towed this past weekend, nothing too heavy though, just a mower deck for the john deere, deck and trailer maybe 2500-3k, towed like a dream, didnt even know the trailer was back there....

As far as rubbing, I have a pic in my gallery, only spot it rubbed was the upper control arms just a tad at full lock, didnt rub anywhere else...
