Dealership screwed something up.....

I get my truck back from the dealer today and reload Smarty and plug in my X2 when I get home, and now I have no power to my brake controller or the Control Pod for my X2.

Any idea what they could have done? I brought it in to have the seat track replaced (but its just on order), so they basically did nothing. Any ideas? Didn't bother looking tonight in the dark, but I'll dig around some tomorrow.

Well, I think I owe the dealer an apology. The Control Pod was my fault - I plugged it in wrong last night. Once I could see what I was doing I noticed right away. So that's fixed.

As far as the brake controller goes, I think mine is failing. This morning it came on, but now I'm getting more lights than usual. I need to pull out my manual and see what it's trying to tell me.

Not bashing you or anything, but I heard a good quote this morning and it kind of applies to your situation.

"Always keep your words soft and sweet. You may have to eat them someday."

I liked it!

That's pretty funny.

I have some more harsh words for them but I've been in trouble enough on this site already. I'm just tired of having to make return trips every time I go in for something, and tired of responses like "that oil leak around your turbo is normal. Its just seeping, not dripping." And tired of waiting 2 days for them to tell me this.....

OH.....I understand completely! Got out of the dealer circle several years ago, but now I'm thinking.....thinking.......MAN! If I could go back to work at a dealer and just treat people right, fix there vehicle the first time, and keep them informed, ( all of which I believe I am capable of! ) I could make a mint!

If they'd supply the warrantied parts I'd handle the labor. But they won't do that.
