Dealer replacing TQ, What do you recommend?

My dealer said he would put in a different TQ since mine is toast at 14K miles.

What brand/model would you guys buy to replace it with?

Goerend has a lifetime warranty on the converter if you opt for that option.

Suncoast if you need it soon. Goerend if you have 3 weeks to wait. Quality wise, I don't think there's much difference, there seems to be several good brands on the market.

I was thinking the same thing. If I had a dealer like that I wouldn't give em' up for the world.

the only reason I asked was, I tried to get my dealer to replace the tc before I modded my truck and was told they could not do it even if I paid the extra for the upgraded tc. I could buy an aftermarket tc and pay them their shop rate to install but that is something I will NEVER do. If you have a dealer like that, that would be nice for people who just want a better tc and don't plan on adding too much hp

a dealer has the right do its own service work and decide on what they are willing to install and not install they can tell you they will put it in but wont warrenty it or they can do the opsite. my brother in laws dealer does not care and they sell bullydog products from their part counter and dont hide the fact that they do and they get alot of busniess from ppl who want to mod there truck. they also tell you how to use your product and how not to ie running SL with a stock trans i guess its all on the service writer and what they feel is good business.
