hi guys newbi here, my friend has a 02 3500 with the 5.9 having dead pedal problems at 1400rpm only while under a load. we have checked waste gate for sticking,he replaced the apss or tps still done the same. new fuel pump including adding one in the tank. i drove it the other day and it worked perfect, on his way home it started it again.he said that the turbo doesn't even kick in and then all of a sudden it takes off. strange huh? love any help anyone could give.it's driving him nuts

Got any codes? Perhaps 0216 or 0215? If so, lots of reading. Don't throw any more parts at it - you'll likely be wasting $$ & not fixing.

yes looked at it at chruch tonight and ot was po1693 which only tells me there's a code in the ecm, so have to wait till he gets it scanned to know what it is. by the way that was him putting in the parts not me. i just started helping him monday.
