DDP injectors

Any reccomendations on these injectors? Can I go straight for the 80 hp injectors instead of buying 25 or 40 horse injectors? What supporting mods will I need to run these injectors? I plan on new turbo just wondering if EGT's will be managable with these injectors. Are there better ones out there for the money?

From what I've read SDX have a better spray pattern and they are alot cheaper than DDP injectors. http://www.southerndieselx.com/index...y&path=309_332 And I'm pretty sure you can just go for any size injector you don't have to step up on them for the bigger ones.

You can run bigger injectors just fine, but if you want more power with them then turn up your pump too. You might get a little hot with a stock turbo and bigger injectors an pump turned up. I think I'd turn up pump first then go with a better turbo then injectors. No point havin all the power and not bein able to use it cuz you cant keep it cool.

Question Whats the size?

What size are DDP 80hp sticks (example-5x18=001272).? The chart on 1stgen.org http://www.1stgen.org/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=1363 only says they are 65lpm

Zack, the first thing you should get is a pyrometer, (says he who doesn't have one... ) If you turn your pump up, it'd be a real good idea to keep an eye one your EGT's.

DDP's are expensive, but a very good injector, especially if you're into fuel economy and low smoke.

They reckon 1250° is the safest maximum sustained temp.
