DDP 90's

Hey guys,
I'm looking for some new injectors for my 06. I have used Don M's in the past and had pretty good results but I can't shut the truck down for a week or two so I thought that I may just order a set DDP 90's. I ran them on my 98.5 and had great luck with them. So I was wondering how many of you guys have ran them on your CR trucks and how did ya like them. Without starting a fight how do they stack up with Flux injectors. EGT, smoke and drivability.
Thanks guys,
Randy

Ran DDP 150's and Flux 3's. I recommend the Flux 3's. Way less smoke, cooler egt's, power comes on faster for some reason, and the idle is smoother. I daily drive the truck and it doesn't smoke much with the Flux 3's.

EDM'd injectors just seem to run a lot cleaner and cooler than an extrude honed injector. Especially after 90+ hp extrude honed, then it starts getting hazy.

I have videos of extrude honed and edm'd stixs.

I've heard that some of the dealer even keep some of the commons sizes of Flux's in stock for exchanges so you don't have to wait for down time.

I like formula1s best. In my old truck, (2005 cummins)they did amazing. I had the 100 hp ones, and they did well on everything except smoke. When i would hit the throttle, good response, okay egts, bad smoke.

I have ddp 90's which I drive daily with no problems except when I want to move in a hurry, it'll move but leaving some smoke for others to drive through. Mind you, the smoke I leave isn't where I'll stop traffic plus I'm running stacks so that kinda helps thin it out before coming down.

If it's a white car coming up behind me real hard, I'll stop it real quick with a some throttle play.

I've had mine (90hp ddp) for about a month now and I'm more than happy. They help spool my turbo super quick and until the programmer gets turned on the smoke isn't an issue.

You can get just tips from Don now, I sold a couple sets this week. I have some 120s (2.5s) in stock if you can not have the down time and your injectors are doing good. Tim

Tim,
I have a question for ya,
When you change just the tips are they able to withstand high pressure from pressure boxes? I know DDP claim to handle pressures that are higher then stock. Now I know that I have at least 1 injector that is leaking so tips are out of the question. I just think that if I'm going to buy injectors I would rather buy brand new injectors. I'm not sure but I was told by a DDP dealer that they sell new injectors that are re worked. I have had a couple of sets of Flux 2 injectors that worked great but both times I had trouble with them and had to be sent back for repair and both times it cost big bucks to repair injectors that cost me big bucks to buy. Not really looking to do it again.

I know that Don is the best when it comes to injectors but I would rather start with a new set of injectors to start with.
Thanks for all the input guys,
Topper
