Daily Driver 5.9 or 6.7

I'm in the market for another truck and I'm wondering what are everyone's thoughts about what is better for a daily driver. I don't tow much, two sleds at most. My concerns about the 5.9 is the transmission. I don't plan on making 500+ horse with the truck but it will get a tuner. What are the 68's like? Any major problems with them? It would be nice to have the exhaust break but its really not a big factor, just a want. Any insight would be great!! Thanks for your time

My recommendation would be to locate a 5.9 that already has a built transmission. There are always 5.9's for sale at good prices with built transmissions. There were a few in the classifieds section of the DTR recently. Always some on ebay.

I have a 5.9 and a 6.7. For the cost savings of getting a 5.9, that would be the route I would go. My 5.9 still has a 100% stock transmission and its at 230K miles. If you take care of it, the trans will last.
