custom bumpers
I have been trying to find pictures of custom bumpers(front and rear) as I want to fabricate my own but would like some ideas. I know Ranch Hand in Texas makes a great looking bumper but I have been in AZ for 5 yrs and nobody around here seems to have anything like that. Has anybody made any pipe bumpers that would share some advice on the fab. Thanks in advance.

I have Tough Country bumpers on my dually, not too stylish, but they are tough, the front one will explode a deer like a watermelon at 65mph, ask me how I know . Their web site is ToughCountry.com, they have lots of pics to give you some ideas to build your own..........

I fab bumpers also, and have pics of the one I like most. I will send one of if you would like. I've tried to post a pic of it but the file seems to be to large. It is sized for e-mail from my digital camera but still is to large. It is not a pipe bumper but a formed plate type. Let me know and I will send it to you.

I made some bumpers a while back. Not the prettiest welding , but I hadn't done it in two years. There are some pics floating around on my website....

I like the road armor bumpers, roadarmor.com should get you there. They are pretty stylish but may be a little tough to build. I plan on making one some time soon. I have a custom rear on mine and my Dads, made from rectanular tubing, and some some flat iron. Pretty easy to make, did it in a day, the tough part is the mounting brackets. My dads also has a custom front on it. I made it out of a 6"x12"x1/4" rectangular tube that I notched and bent to wrap around in the front. It also has 1 3/4" round tubing grill gaurd. My dad's front and my rear are both sealed, and double as an air bubble. I'd like to show you some pictures, but I can't afford things like a digital camera or a scanner .
