has anybody on here built there own bumpers?

I built mine it's still a work in progress I gotta finish the brushguard part. The main part came from an old cement truck in a junk yard. I just added the mounting brackets and the diamond plate. The brackets are 4"X4" angle 3/8" thick that are bolted to the original bumper mounting holes in the frame. The bumper simply sits on top of these brackets and got welded to them. Then I added some 5/8" gussets behind the bumper going from 3/4 of the way up the backside down to the brackets, to keep the bumper from getting pushed over backwards into my grill by a small import

This one I found in town, probably not homemade though.
