Cummins prices?

I haven't had to buy anything but a belt tensioner so far. It was 20 bucks cheaper at Cummins dealer. Is this an exception rather than the rule?

Are OEM engine parts less expensive at Cummins?

Buying parts directly from cummins dealer is definatley cheaper than buying them from dodge. Dodge just marks them up fromt he cummins prices so they can make their money.

Saving money never gets "old". I'm still under warranty, so until it's gone I use the dealer. Once it's gone in another year and a half, I'm using Cummins. I don't mind people making money, but I hate getting ripped off by dealers.

Cummins Prices

The only thing I've purchased from Cummins so far is fuel filters. I change fuel filters almost everytime I change oil (every 5K). The filter element is $13.95 from Cummins, $20 from autoparts, and $40 from Dodge.

Fuel rail pressure sensor $745 Canadian at the dealer, $113 at Cummins. I feel sorry for anyone who gets their truck worked on at the dealer after the warranty expires.
