Cummins gaket set

Does anyone know what the difference between the 2 head gaskets that come in a Cummins top end gasket set? When I replaced my head I used the same part number that came off my truck but I was just curious what the difference was I mic's thickness and it seemed that they are the same?

When I did my head I was given 2 options for head gaskets, one was thicker than the other. The thicker one was for a rebuilt engine that had planning work done on the block or head. I used the standard thickness one. Unless you had work done to your block/head you probably did right by using the same part number as what came off.

That's what I figured it was everything else looked the same so that is why I used the one I did. When they resurfaced it they didn't have to take much off to get it straight so I figured it would be ok.
