Cummins badge removal
I am going to install chrome wheel trim, and the badge is in the way. Looks like it is just stuck on there with some type of adhesive. I quess the questions I wanted to ask is.
Is there any problems that I have to be mindfull of while trying to remove this emblem? How should I go about doing it?
What should I use to relocate the emblem back on the truck?
Thanks

Heat it up with a hair dryer or a heat gun. Don't get it too hat and you should be able to pull it right off of the fender and reapply it where-ever you want. Alot of guys are putting it up on the upper part of the fender by the base of the window.

Removed mine when I installed bushwackers they came right off by just pulling gently although I like the fishing line idea better. It looks like its just two sided tape. I relocated the badges above the fender flares and behind the lights.

I used a heat gun to lightly heat the ram 2500 badges on my doors, and then used fishing line which worked really well. I used 3m adhesive remover on the leftover goo, which works really well and doesn't scratch the paint at all. As far as reapplying them, one way would be to fully clean the adhesive off the emblem and get/cut new 3m double sided tape for it.

Thanks for all the help, I grabbed a heat gun from a friend and used some 6lb test and it worked like a charm. I then relocated it under the Ram 3500 emblem on the door.
Thanks you for all the insight everybody!

Well, I just removed mine, went well. My wife saw me going outside and ask "what are you doing with my hair dryer?". Hair dryer??!! I don't need no stinkin' hair dryer...this is a "heatgun". I wouldn't use my wifes hairdrier on my Dodge!!
