has anybody put a cst 2wd lift on there 2wd 3rd gen? if so can anybody include pics

Not mine, don't know if you saw the thread a week or so back on 2wd lift kit.

This is a picture of CST 6.5" lift on 3rd gen 2wd Cummins, from a member of another forum I belong to. This truck looks great.

I've been pondering on the kit, but decided for now to focus my money on performance.

I don't know a single person with the CST kit, but it is relatively new. In general, though, CST makes a quality product; but one thing I don't like is you are usually forced to run an aftermarket wheel with less backspacing, otherwise the tire will rub the spindle upright. CST using a straight tube design on their spindles which keeps them simple and strong, but they get in the way. Another thing they do which I wish they'd change is supply new tubular upper control arms that don't increase wheel travel, and in some cases they actually decrease travel. With a little more work they could put a bend in the arm and increase droop travel an inch or so more than stock. Other than that they make a pretty complete and solid kit. Oh, and they are usually more expensive compared to other brands.

With the power I aim for, I may need a performance suspension. Its all too tempting!!!!

That is my truck in the picture. In short the kit is great. It does improve the ride of the truck. My truck is on 22's with 35 tall tires. CST make a great kit. We did the install as a tech article, look for that soon!
