Hey ChuckW,
The cruise control servo is under the drivers side battery tray. The problem is either the servo itself (usually this is not the case), or the vacume line going to the servo. What has likely happened is that battery acid has dripped on the vacume line going to the servo and eaten holes in the line. If you inspect the line carefully youll see what I mean. I fixed mine with some 1/4 tubing and electric heat shrink. A true hillbilly fix but it worked great and cost just about nothing.

Dr. Evil's right I have the same problem and looked down between the windshield washer bottle and the battery and the small vacuum line was worn in one spot and completely broken in another.

I have solved this issue myself
and yup that is usually teh case, now we need some pictures of that line..
