Cruise Control

Does running a Pot going to effect the working of the cruise control?

If you mean injectors they won't affect the cruise at all.

Cruise will still work I have the pot and mine works fine.

What it was doing before you would set it and it would cont. to gain speed not set at certain speed, at the time one of the problems was the vac pump was leaking and now that is fixed and read in the shop man. that the linkage is positionable tight with no play.

If it is gaining speed it could be because you have the pot adjusted too high try turning it back in small increments till the problem goes away.

your cruse problems

My '93 had the same cruse problem with it gaining speed after it was set. I replaced the SET button (found one @ wrecken yard.) with another one .It looked to be in better condition.It fixed the problem....Curtis.
