Last night the cruise control stuck on in my '96 3500 (auto). It would not switch off or set at a low speed. I could hit the brake and keep it off for only a few seconds. I found the cable to the fuel pump and disconnected it there. The tachometer and "O/D off" button quit working at the same time. This morning they all came back on. That makes me think they all have something electrical in common. I've got 3000 miles to drive before I get home and need the cruise control badly. Any suggestions appreciated.

Looks like a nice problem to me (I own a 24V so maybe I am wrong) Maybe the PCM would be a good place to start looking. (controls the cruise, OD , tach) I'd remove the connectors (under hood on the firewall at pass.side) and clean them.<br><br>HTH<br><br>AlpineRAM
