Cruise Control - noise from servo and thermometer

My IOD fuse burned out today. Upon replacement I had a couple of issues, maybe or maybe not, related. I always leave power on to the cruise control. When I turned ignition to on (not the first time but the second or third time after starting the vehicle) I got a clicking from the cruise control servo. It went off when I turned power off to the cruise at the steering wheel and started again when I turned the power on. I took the truck for a quick trip, engaged the cruise control and it worked briefly and then stopped. Came back to the house, no more clickng from the servo. No other warning lights are on and everything else seems to be working fine. Additionally, after the IOD fuse failed, my overhead console shows the direction of travel but the thermometer reads "SC". I did some searching on both issues but did not run in to this scenario.

Thanks
Steve
