Crossover help needed
Has anyone installed a crossover setup with a Skyjacker 2" spring set? I've searched and searched to no avail. All the posts I've found have at least a 4" lift. I spoke to John at Off Road Design in Colorado and his main concern was clearance with such little lift. I ran a broom stick to get an idea and it will come really close to the driver's side spring. I am on my third adjustable drag link failure and it is getting increasingly stale. The tie rod end on the pitman arm wears out. I've tried a Superlift drag link and 2 Skyjacker drag links. I would really like to go with a crossover setup and be done with but am running into a possible clearance issue because of such little lift as the new drag link might hit the driver's side spring.

Well, you can run a riser block on the passenger side to get it up a little higher. I do believe that off road design has a cross over bar that has a bend in it now to get it a little lower under the motor.

The clearance issue is it hitting the driver's side spring. With only 2" of lift, there's not much arch so it's a little tight between the spring and the frame. After some more searching, Akiska had posted it will not work without sufficient lift because of the clearance problem. I really wanted to install a crossover set up after my 3rd drag link failure. I also read on another post there is a warranty with the Skyjacker unit. I can't find the receipt amongst the many that I keep.
