yeah its cloudy and looks like a light colored coffee, it maybe be the p/s, it doesnt have a strong diesel smell either. if diesel wasnt so **** high i would have dump the whole thing into my heater and bought more but i cant waste a half tank of fuel when the truck runs fine.

Could also be where your getting the fuel. Next time maybe, collect a sample and compare that to a station down the road who has a different company deliver fuel. Could tell a little more.

Truthfully guys I did not even think that he had diesel in the tank. It looks and smells nothing like diesel. Bobby, how much PS did you put in that tank? It looks like bile, not diesel.

Sounds like biodiesel.. you might want to get it checked anyhow.

Fuel deliverer might have gotten his load in the wrong tank. They seem to do that once in a while.

First, I'd address that WIF light. Next, I'd call the station and ask if it is bio. I would not mention the color, just ask if they sell bio. Go back and buy a half gallon or so, bring it home and pour it into something clear and let it set undisturbed for 24-36 hours. If it is water, it will separate. Personally, I've never seen creme colored fuel unless it had water in it. Not saying it's not bio, just don't know.

I would suspect a lot of water in the fuel. It should drop out of suspension with a little time though. If it was bio, it would be bad bio. Usually bio that looks like that has not converted correctly and the fuel has emulsion issues. Either way, 100$ loss of fuel is a lot better than trashing your whole fuel system with a lot of water.
I am a cheap person and try to save every penny I can but if it is white, creamy in color I would dump it or at least put it in a drum and see if it separates.

At $4 a gallon, we shouldn't have to be this paranoid! [verymad]

Looks like contaminated fuel to me.....did the water settle out? You can get some stuff that you put on a stick an dip fuel tanks with. It changes cooler in water, can't think of the name of it OTMH.....

Ugh.. ok. I would contact the owner of that station immediately and hold on to your receipts.
Have your tank pumped out and refilled and change your filter asap.
Looks to me like hes sold you water. probably a leaky underground storage tank.
Dont run on this fuel.. water can cause major fuel system damage. You may want to have a mechanic check things out for you and document it.
