I haven't done one on that yr , but if like most , the 1st thing is testing to confirm its bad , what is the problem ?
A couple of bolts , adjust the air gap [ there is a measurement for the distance between the sensor & dampener , I do not know it for that truck .
Now that you found this site , you may get in trouble , and or be lead astray with all the things most are doing to there trucks , just have fun .

Only difficulty you might have is if the sensor is stuck to the crankcase.
You will come up with a lot of info if you do a search. No sense in rehashing stuff that has been gone over many times.
There is no dampener involved and the air gap is not adjustable.
