Could I have a bad Boost Fooler

I bought a boost fooler from a member on here a while back. I hooked it up straight to the sensor and put my Bullydog Outlook monitor into it. The digital readout would max out at 18 psi, I usually hit 28psi, this is suppose to be normal cause of the digital guage. Other members say there's does the same thing but they notice the boost differance. When I hooked mine up like this I felt a loss in power and I can't here my turbo whistle any more. I tried hooking it up to before the monitor and I couldn't tell anything at all. It was like it wasn't there, and the readout said 28, like usual. I understand it's a rare thing, but could the fooler not be working or is the ECU not cooperating?

I had a boost fooler on mine with the Triple Dog and it never would work right. Any other programmer was fine, but not with the Triple Dog. I called Quadzilla and they sent me a new fooler just to be on the sure side about there products. Both units were fine so in conclusion I just dealt with the fact that the boost fooler and triple dog did not work correctly on my truck.

Yep it works on some trucks but not on others for some odd reason. It;s a really weird thing. I had analog gauges and with the Triple Dog alone I would hit around 36-37 psi of boost if I remember correctly. With the fooler on it would only hit 28-29 psi of boost plus the EGT's were a bit higher.

since you feel like you are losing power try it without the outlook hooked up to the MAP sensor and see if you can make anymore power. I know this seems wired but I have heard of this making a difference. Anything is worth a shot.

Are you saying don't hook up the outlook at all? I tried it on both sides of the outlook but never left it off completely.

Not to hijack, but I have the boost fooler with my power pup and only see 32psi at wot. Could it be that the boost fooler does not work with my power pup?
