Converting 2500 to a Dually

Wondering if anyone on here as done this. Saw one in an older Diesel Power mag. Main question is will the fiberglass fenders fit on a short bed truck? I know they will require some fab work to make look "right". Just wantin a short bed dually without having to go the flat bed route.

No they won't fit, but there is a company that does make them. If you need PM me and I will find the Company for you.

Or would it be easier to just get a long bed & cut some off the front & back of the bed. Have done this before when I turned a 79 ford 250 single cab long bed to a extended cab short bed back in my younger days.

Actually, it has been done. I'm not aware of the specifics of how to mount the DRW fender on a short box but I know it is possible.

I did not say it could not be done, but the ones from a long box are longer than a short box. They will not fit without extensive mods. These guys make ones that will fit.
