Converted from FORD to DODGE
Good day all, I just wanted to drop a note to introduce myself. I have been looking at this website over the last two days and I see alot of wisdom and expierence here. Thanks in Advance.
I am looking to buy a newer 2500, around the 2005 model. This is my first expierence with a diesel so I am looking fwd to learning.

Best of luck finding a truck, you are doing good looking for a third gen. With the 05's, some of them had plastic intercooler sides, you want to look for that, there was a problem with them bursting under higher boost pressures. Other than that, 05-07 were pretty good trucks. If you can find an 07 5.9, you'll be in the best spot!.
