How To Control Boost W/ Smarty Aftermarket Turbo Program?

if i load the aftermarket turbo program and run it w/ my stock turbo how would i control boost pressure? the website says it disables the wastegate and the boost wont be controled.

First, you are not modded up with a bunch of fuel anyway so I don't see you driving the turbo too high in any case. With that program and Smarty alone you might see about 40-42 psi. That is at the upper end of efficiency range but you will be ok. Just watch egts. Boost is going to be controlled by the total amount of fuel you give it. The aftermaket turbo program does the boost fooling so you won't throw a high boost code.

thanks, what about when i start adding more fuel w/ stix and a fuel system?

Your going to need an aftermarket turbo if you go to bigger sticks. I can push my HTT62-12 to hard with flux 1's and a modded cp-3.

You'll need a better turbo before then in any case. Your egts will be too high for the stock turbo to cool.

thanks for the info. what about the tq management levels? what is the difference between mild, moderate, and wild? and which one would be best to use driving conservatively w/ my stock 48re until i upgrade my trans?

Mild or stock. TM controls amount of fuel given at low rpms and gear shifts. Stock tranny + wild tm= broken tranny.
